Starting in Sidari heading south for approx. 35mins through small roads and farm tracks through lush grenery of olive groves and pine forests first stop at a bakery in a traditional Corfiot village called Kavvadades. After fueling up we continue driving through more beautiful small villages towards the village of Prinilas. After Prinilas we descend down towards the sea towards the old donkey trail through narrow tracks through some of Corfus lushest part of the island through some deep wooded areas heading towards The Fishermans cabin and coming into the beach area of Agios Georgios from the south. We can stop for refreshments there before we head off towards Afionas where we park up to walk 20mins to Porto Timoni beach. Sensible footwear and drinks required. After Porto Timoni we head straight to Arillas where we can park up and get drinks at the Malibu bar. After drinks e can visit Arillas bakery selling beautiful cakes and pastry, Vegan and Veggy options catered for. We leave Arillas and head for San Stefanos where we can snorkel near the small harbour or visit Akrotiri Café for beautiful views.
A really nice sandy beach at the bay of Agios Georgios. There are lots of bars and cafes which offer alcoholic and soft drinks, coffees and ice cream. They serve it at the beach as well. This beach is good for smaller children too. You can easily find parking place for your car, and there are 2 supermarkets too.
Reviews---------------Fantastic bakery, plenty of sweet and savory treats. Maria and her husband are warm and friendly. Great place to visit and watch the nesting birds feed their young. Gluten Free options available as well as soya/almond alternatives for people with allergies/food preferences. Highly recommended place to visit. Very nice, small bakery with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Nice little seating area in the shade. Not only do they make sell a great range of bread and cake's, they sell excellent coffee. A small outside area with table and chairs for consuming what you perches. Can recommend. The owners are very friendly. Great pastries. We always visit daily when in Arillas. It's lovely to sit outside with a freshly squeezed Orange juice before the walk back.
