The trail starts with the wash-house over the Chironde creek, tributary of the Coly river. The route joins the Chironde valley along a small road, and then follows a rocky alley to reach the ponds. Hikers will admire the typical houses and their rock-tiled roofs in perfect condition. Eventually, the trail goes down to the village to admire its old centre. The church Our Lady of the Assumption, of the 12th century, with its roof is in rock slates, is separated by a narrow street of the Saint-Genies castle and its tower with battlements of the 16th century.
