Description de l'itinéraire
Easy to moderate trail near the nice village of Vavla.
Recommend: end of March - April, when acacia mimosa blooms. In spring you can also see some poppies and lots of asphodels.
Terrain: First, the trail goes along the stream pass. In rainy years the stream runs over the road. Otherwise it is very easy. At the chapel it turns to the other side of the stream and follows a very sleepy and steep climb. This part is of moderate difficulty. At the top, there will be a sunset pergola with a view. Then the path goes above the valley and returns to the village.
Path: The first half up to the chapel is a paved road. The second - a gravy road.
Kids and strollers: the first half of the trail up to the chapel is suitable for smaller ones and wheels. Beware of rare cars. There is a playground at the start and a picnic area at the chapel.
Viewpoints: Acacia Mimosa in spring, a chapel, a view to the nearby villages.
Eat: picnic area at the chapel, pergola at the top, restaurant at the parking.
