A walk along the Boardman canal flume. cool in summer. This trail can be considered as stand alone if you park near the canal on Geisendorf road. This trail can also be used as an access point for the other trails of the Weimar institute. Alternatively, you can park in the visitor parking lot of the Weimar institute and walk down to the flume trail.

The Weimar Institute has over 15 miles of trails. Although this is private property, the trails are open to hikers and equestrians. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are not allowed. A volksmarch cabinet on the side of the Welcome Center near the visitor parking area contains paper maps. For an online version see http://mvtrails.org/images/weimar.jpg
